Göz tedavisinde erken tanı ve tedavi takibi artık Tatvan’da yapılabilecek
Bitlis-Tatvan Devlet Hastanesi’nde kurulan Optik Koherens Tomografi (OCT ) cihazı sayesinde hastalar artık göz tedavisinin bazı işlemleri için il dışına sevk olmak zorunda kalmayacak. Erken tanı ve tedavi takipleri de Tatvan’da yapılabilecek.
Göz tedavisinde erken tanı ve tedavi takibi artık Tatvan’da yapılabilecek
Bitlis-Tatvan Devlet Hastanesi’nde kurulan Optik Koherens Tomografi (OCT ) cihazı sayesinde hastalar artık göz tedavisinin bazı işlemleri için il dışına sevk olmak zorunda kalmayacak. Erken tanı ve tedavi takipleri de Tatvan’da yapılabilecek.
OCT cihazının, düşük enerjili lazer ışınları kullanılarak gözün retina tabakasının ve görme sinirinin kesit kesit yüksek çözünürlükte tarandığı bir cihaz olduğunu söyleyen Göz Hastalıkları Uzmanı Op. Dr. Fatma Betül Gürağaç, "Bu tamamen zararsız bir tanı yöntemidir. Radyasyon yaymaz. Hastanın gözüne dokunulmadan 2 veya 3 dakika içerisinde kolayca uygulanabilmektedir" dedi.
Gürağaç, "Retina hastalıkları ve glokomun tanı ve takipleri ileri teknoloji gerektirmektedir. OCT ile retina kalınlık ölçümleri yapılabilmekte, özellikle şeker hastalarında gelişen diyabetik retinopati, yaşlılarda ortaya çıkan makula dejenerasyonu (sarı nokta hastalığı) ve makulada ödeme neden olan retinal patolojilerin tanı ve tedavisinin takibinde kullanılmaktadır. Makula hastalıkları dışında görme siniri liflerinin kalınlık ölçümleri sayesinde glokomun erken tanı ve izleminde de önemi büyüktür. Günümüzde, OCT incelemesini içermeyen glokom takibi ve makuler patolojilerden bahsetmek olanaksızdır. Hastanemizde kullanmaya başladığımız OCT cihazı sayesinde bahsetmiş olduğumuz hastalıklar nedeniyle il dışına sevk etmek zorunda kaldığımız hastalarımızın artık tanı ve tedavi takiplerini burada yapabilmekteyiz” şeklinde konuştu.
OCT cihazıyla gözün en dış tabakasından en iç tabakasına kadar görüntülerin ayrıntılı şekilde kayıt altına alınabildiğini belirten Göz Hastalıkları Uzmanı Op. Dr. Erdem Ergen ise, "OCT cihazı birçok hastalığın erken tanı ve tedavisinde göz hekimine yardımcı oluyor" dedi.
